FreshCult wearable BIOLOGY: new look, improved formula, and bigger size (+10%).

FreshCult works through the major root cause of the most common-type BO: skin bacteria.

FreshCult prevents odor before it forms by creating an environment that odor-causing bacteria don’t like.

Developed by a Harvard-trained microbiologist (PhD), made in South Korea.

FreshCult = super sensitive safe. Your skin instantly feels it. No baking soda, alcohol, aluminum, harsh chemicals, pH-disrupting magnesium hydroxide.

Users often note the disappearing of rashes and itchiness after switching to FreshCult.

Using enzyme biology, FreshCult effectively prevents stress BO.

No oil or waxes. Leaves zero stain or residue on white, black, and colored fabrics.

Deo irritants lead to inflammation, which leads to hyperpigmentation.

Eliminate these irritants and brighten up with FreshCult.

In addition to being super gentle to sensitive skin, FreshCult actively benefits the skin, with zinc, vitamin B6, and probiotic proteins.
Skin-friendly acidic pH keeps your skin cells comfortable in their natural state.

If you have super sensitive skin or eczema, the Unscented variant is always the gentlest.

Refreshing Peppermint variant is scented with 100% USDA organic peppermint essential oil.

Manufactured in South Korea

Developer Answers FAQs

A. FreshCult prevents odor instead of masking it with fragrances, using the principle of microbial ecology. It uses the power of good bacteria to create a natural, healthy skin environment that odor-causing bacteria do not like.

A. In developing FreshCult, I set three things as non-negotiables: 1. Target the root cause. 2. Be extremely gentle to sensitive skin. 3. Be extremely good to the body.

Even if there is an amazing super mega ingredient that can eliminate odor with a blink of an eye, I would not use it unless it’s great for sensitive skin and body.

FreshCult is devoid of harsh chemicals, aluminum, baking soda, alcohol, fragrances and essential oils (unscented variant). No pH-disrupting magnesium hydroxide. FreshCult is of skin-friendly acidic pH. To our knowledge, FreshCult is the only deodorant that ticks off all these marks.

A. FreshCult is awesome for hyperpigmentation care.

Funnily, armpit brightening was not something I even had in my mind when I was developing this. I was focused on developing a deo that was effective but super gentle to sensitive skin. But that turned out to be just what was needed.

My very first beta tester immediately opened my eyes in her FB message, in which she told me that after a week of use, her armpits were already brighter. Since then, I heard often about this aspect from users.

Two major causes of armpit hyperpigmentation are frequent shaving and irritants in deodorants.

Seeing underarm tone gradually recovering its natural even tone is a great visual way to see how skin-beneficial FreshCult is. If darkening has been there for a long time from previous deos, it will take longer to recover. But with FreshCult, each spritz is a positive step towards it.

A. Yes, the cause of pit stains is simple. If a deo or antiperspirant has aluminum, oils, waxes, propylene glycol, or propanediol, it stains. FreshCult is made without any of these and is invisible. And in fact, in contrast to waxy and oily deos that cling to fabrics and skin alike, FreshCult is a very rare, 100% water-soluble formula. That means invisibility on clothes, and max breathability of your skin. Why don’t other companies do what we do? For one, invisibility and water-soluble nature was possible because FreshCult was developed based on biological principles, not cosmetics chemistry (and its limitations) everyone else was following. For another, the ingredients of FreshCult together are orders of magnitude more expensive to manufacture than the typical, staining, deo ingredients that are used by others.

A. This reminds me of this Amazon review, which made me laugh (and was accurate).

FreshCult does not use high percentages of essential oils, because even though natural, EOs irritate sensitive skin at high concentrations.

Further, FreshCult does not use fragrance fixatives. These make fragrance molecules stick on your skin for a long time but they are also bad for sensitive skin.

So FreshCult Peppermint is like walking through the peppermint garden as your morning starts. The scent will be gone quite quickly. FreshCult, whether Unscented or Peppermint, never relies on masking to cover up odor. It’s the layered, biology-based, natural, scent-free ingredients that are doing the work. FreshCult ironically allows users to become a true fragrance master: by being completely scent-neutral yet protecting you from typical and stress BO, FreshCult allows you to sport your signature perfum.

If you have hyperhidrosis, it will dilute quickly. You will have to spritz it more often than most other people if you have hyperhidrosis. But if you decided to try FreshCult nevertheless for its excellent skin and body benefits, I recommend you try sage tea in addition to possibly tackle the sweating aspect. Oral and topical sage water is known to reduce sweating on some individuals with hyperhidrosis. You can also try iontophoresis if you have hyperhidrosis.

A. FreshCult works on most people. That is because most people don’t have hyperhidrosis, and most people have “typical body odor,” which is caused by skin bacteria. FreshCult targets the skin bacteria problem. FreshCult is a microbiome solution, it’s awesome in that it WILL NOT fail you if you have bacteria-led typical BO. That said, FreshCult will NOT work on folks with atypical body odor, caused by something else, not skin bacteria.

For example: body odor caused by internal metabolic issues or drug-induced metabolite odor cannot be prevented by FreshCult because the root cause of their BO is different from the one being targetted by FreshCult. In these cases, sweat itself smells, even without the involvement of bacteria.

A. If you are active during the day, then apply in the morning. If you are a complete night owl and your main active time is the night, then apply in the evening. If you sweat a lot or go to the gym, a spritz or two before or after can help further to counter dilution from sweating.

A. These four I suggest in these cases.

1. Try finding a simple panthenol serum on Amazon. Something with minimal other ingredients. Panthenol is provitamin B5 and will help sooth the upset skin.

2. Apply a tiny amount of Madecassol ointment. It’s a specialty concentrated madecassoside ointment from Korea, a household staple for low-level healing.

3. Try a sulfur soap from Amazon in your shower. Sometimes bright rash on armpits is not only an irritation rash, but also fungal rash. Deodorants with oils, waxes, and root powders (most stick deos) create an environment that skin fungus likes. Sulfur soaps are mildly anti-fungal in a natural way, without the side effects of medicated antifungals. So try using it a few times. If it feels helping, keep using. If it is irritating, lower the frequency of use.

4. FreshCult Unscented deo. When the rash is terribly bad from the previous deo, don’t use any deo. But as it recovers a bit and you need a deo to go about your day, FreshCult Unscented is your best friend.
